Sr. Linux Engineer

- Effectively build standards where needed and inform users how to best use the GPFS cluster and NAS to improve their business
- Support multiple GPFS clusters identify potential optimizations while staying current with Linux troubleshooting skills.
- Investigate and propose/test new solutions to solve business problems as they relate to storage and capacity

Responsibilities/Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

5+ years of Linux System Administration and work related experience

Desire to learn and develop skills to support Spectrum Scale (GPFS), Isilon NAS, and Oracle ZFS

Strong Scripting experience using one of Perl, Python or Shell

Experience designing and working with hybrid cloud storage solutions

Experience supporting and updating Isilon Gen5/Gen6 NAS clusters

Desire to learn and develop skills to support Spectrum Scale (GPFS), Isilon NAS, and Oracle ZFS
