Senior Java Developer

The Sr. Java Developer will be responsible for working from requirements to develop new applications and modules in an enterprise system.

Will work in a team to understand business needs, translate requirements into technical specs; and design, code, test, and implement software. There is extensive interaction with architects, other developers, DevOps engineers, BAs, QA, and business users. Strong background in modern web development is required, with a focus on creating and using RESTful services, APIs, and microservices. Experience developing high availability systems with an eye for performance is ideal. Knowledge of developing secure APIs is desired.

Background:

• 5+ years in application development with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful services, SOAP services, JAX, Hibernate/JPA, and JDBC
• Experience developing robust Front End web apps with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML/CSS, JSON, and XML, along with JS-based frameworks (Angular, Vue, React, Bootstrap, etc.)
• Strong experience with Tomcat, JBoss/Wildfly, and other Servers for development and production
• Experience with development and deployment tools such as Docker, Maven, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo

This is a contract-to-hire position in Cleveland, OH.
