Inside Business Development Representative

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a results-oriented, motivated and strategic hunter' who is laser-focused on building a sales pipeline within the DFW market.
  • This person will become an expert at using lead generation tools to routinely extract contacts and craft accurate and targeted lists of prospects as well as call from a provided list.
  • The right candidate will be able to communicate effectively and professionally over the telephone, social media and email correspondence. We expect attention to detail, excellent sales skills, and solid customer service skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for generating business through proactive outreach to new customers via cold calling.
  • Research, qualify, manage and track leads and related sales activities
  • Introduce MCG's business model and consulting services with ability to articulate the value of professional services to Managers, Directors and C-level executives
  • Serve as an enthusiastic and professional Brand Ambassador for MCG
  • Set qualified appointments for discovery calls with the sales team
  • Independently research and update established prospect database
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Continually enhance selling skills, product, technology, application, and industry knowledge
  • Meet and exceed daily sales goals and objectives
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Proven track record of opening up new customer accounts requiring heavy prospecting, cold calling, appointment setting and closing ability with 1-2 years of experience.
  • Superb writing, communication, and listening skills;
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Proven success making 75+ daily outbound calls
  • Experience utilizing and updating CRM system.
  • Ability to learn quickly and think analytically
  • Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques
  • Strong computer and Internet skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Webex
  • Must be detail oriented with a high level of organization
  • Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills in order to communicate effectively with customers and prospects
  • Solid experience using social media such as Facebook, Linked In, etc.
