DevOps Engineer

I am currently working with a highly reputable company with offices across the Nordics.

They work with great DevOps methodologies, in which each team is fully functional, looking after all aspects of Software Development, including; Engineer, Testing, Integrating etc.

They are currently looking for DevOps Engineer with strong broad development experience with Java and Microsoft. Experience with one or more of the cloud technologies is essential (AWS, Azure, Google...)

Role & Responsibilities

• Modernise build and deploy tools and virtualisation Platforms
• Technical operation and maintenance of applications, databases and infrastructure
• Technical operation and maintenance tools and support systems development
• Technical release management, building and deployment
• Maintenance and further development of software and databases
• End-to-end verification of existing and new services.

Ideal skills

• Linux and Windows Servers
• Virtualization, containers and orchestration
• Building scalable and redundant environments & networks
• Scripting (Powershell, Bash, Python)
• Familiarity with Java and/or C++
• Database (SQL), MongoDB
• Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Ansible
