Application Support Analyst - Financial Technology - Zurich

My client, a leading financial vendor based in Zurich, is currently looking for a Technical Application Support Specialist to join their team. The selected candidate will join a small team of technical support analysts focused on maintaining the quality of the applications offered and working closely with the business operations team and external parties on all technical related matters.

The company is extremely flat-structured, and they are looking for an individual who can speak to all areas of the business and be involved in a multitude of technical support tasks.

Responsibilities for the role:

• Provide technical, application, system and database support for their applications
• Troubleshooting of applications
• 1st/2nd/3rd line support
• Analyse and resolve technical and database issues
• Assisting in the continuity of business processes at a technical level

Skillset needed for the role:

• Linux
• MS-SQL
• Java programming experience would be advantageous

The manager is looking for someone with a "can-do " attitude, who can efficiently and effectively achieve high-quality results.
