Contract Type; Fixed Term for 18 months from start date, 18.5 hours per week
Salary £29,636 to £31,371 (pro rata)
This is a key time for our organisation and we need people who are fully committed to helping us realise an important point of growth. Were looking for someone who is able to play a key role in promoting the service and helping us achieve our commercial aims.
As we strive towards setting new standards in building control, we rely on our Building Control Officers to be the driving force behind the service we provide. Youll have the support, resources and knowledge of your colleagues but will also be confident working independently, including out of hours.
Working from Penrith offices as well as remotely, you will use your expertise to ensure that all applications and subsequent works are fully compliant with relevant legislation and policy.
As a key member of our team, youll provide a high quality, professional building control service on a wide range of projects, carrying out thorough site inspections and assisting on-site workers, providing clear guidance and advice. You must also hold a Higher National Certificate (or equivalent) in Building.
