Helpdesk/1st Line/2nd line Support Engineer - Tamworth, Birmingham - to £24k
My client are a highly successful IT Services provider across the UK who are expanding their Tamworth office near Birmingham. They're seeking a Helpdesk/1st Line/2nd Line level Support Engineer to join the team!
Your core skill set will be based around Active Directory, Exchange, Server and you'll be confident working remotely by phone/email/support ticket system to diagnose, support, resolve and triage user issues.
You may also be confident with Group Policies, Microsoft/Windows software (Windows OS, MS Office, 365), Terminal Server, Citrix, LAN/TCP/IP, DNS and so on too, which would all be beneficial for the role.
You'll ideally have a infrastructure/IT support background in the following:
- Experience in Active Directory/Exchange/Server.
- Confident dealing with support requests via phone/email/ticketing systems.
- Ideally some knowledge of Microsoft/Windows OS/Office/365.
- Also knowledge of Group Policies/Terminal Server/Citrix/LAN/TCP/IP would be beneficial.
Training and progression are both available and encouraged - so if you've a demonstrable understanding of the prerequisite Active Directory/Exchange and Server - this could be an ideal move!
