Senior Cloud Engineer - Perm - Fully Remote

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 pa

Fully remote (Must live in the UK)

Must be eligible for SC clearance

We're looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and help design, build and optimise secure cloud solutions across AWS and Azure. You'll be a key part of a forward-thinking team, working closely with architects and developers to deliver infrastructure that enables agility and innovation.

Senior Cloud Engineer Responsibilities:

• Designing and deploying secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation.
• Building automation into infrastructure delivery with CI/CD pipelines.
• Applying cloud security best practices including encryption, RBAC, and compliance controls.
• Monitoring and optimising cloud environments using tools like Azure Monitor, CloudWatch and Grafana.
• Supporting incident response and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Senior Cloud Engineer Skills Required:

• Proven hands-on experience with both AWS and Azure cloud services.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation).
• Solid experience with automation tools such as Ansible or GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of Windows and Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

It would be great if you had:

• Certifications in AWS or Azure, such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator.
• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS or EKS) and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with cloud cost management tools and Zero Trust principles.
