The Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing EUC (desktop) deployment Window 7 - Windows 10, support to all internal users both office based in Paris.
Based in the UK but 5 days a week secondment in HQ Paris
Principal duties will include: routine maintenance, monitoring, software installations, software audits, patching and desk moves. The EUC engineer will have excellent communication skills as well as, identifying priorities and ensuring that all requests are logged and responded to within required timeframes.
From time to time the Desktop Support Engineer will need to liaise with third party suppliers, manufacturers as well as other third party resolver groups, to escalate and resolve issues as required
Duties and responsibilities:
Windows 10 deployment, rollout and migration
Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot, Windows, MS Office and all authorised desktop application
Install, upgrade, support and troubleshooting of printers, desktop hardware and any other authorised peripheral equipment
Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on PC's, laptops, printers and any other authorised peripheral equipment
Performs remedial repairs on computers, laptops, printers and any other authorised peripheral equipment
Handle daily technical support activities on desktop environments.
Desktop setup/moves, including peripherals and network configuration.
Ensure all procedures are documented and kept up to date
Support and assist team members in resolving issues where applicable
Ensure EUC Manager is kept up to date with client issues as they arise/escalate
Maintain good professional relationships with all stakeholders
Essential Skills and Experience:
MS Windows 7/10 deployment
Desktop Rollout experience
Windows Active Directory
rollout imaging tools
Proactive approach to system reliability
Support of standard/third party desktop software
