Contract Software Engineer - AWS/CDK/CI/CD - Inside IR35 - £470/day

RecOps is supporting a major media organisation in their search for a Contract Software Engineer to help build a scalable data processing platform to be used across the BBC.

• £470 per day (Inside IR35)

• Start: ASAP

• End: 15th June 2026

• Location: London (Office attendance required Tuesday-Thursday for 12 weeks during codebuild)

Overview:
You'll be part of a team delivering a robust, modular, and secure AWS-based infrastructure to enable large-scale data processing across multiple BBC divisions.

Key Skills & Experience:

• AWS Certified

• Infrastructure-as-Code using CDK or Terraform

• CI/CD Automation (CloudWatch and Jenkins)

• Infrastructure delivery and monitoring

• Security expertise including threat modelling

• Experience working in large corporate teams or complex environments
