Principal Technologist - End User Compute (EUC) Specialist SC Cleared - 895 p/d inside IR35 = Hybrid Working - 60% onsite required
One of our government clients is recruiting for a Principal Technologist to join them for a 9 month contract. This role is offering 895 per day inside IR35. They are hybrid working 3 days per week onsite - and can offer bases in London, Manchester or Bristol.
This role is working in a Security Cleared environment. You will need to be SC or DV (developed vetting) cleared or eligible to undertake SC or DV Security Clearance.
As Principal Technologist (End User Compute (EUC) Specialist), you will play a key role in designing and enabling our client's strategic approach to end user computing in the public sector. You'll be responsible for shaping and delivering the strategy for EUC services across a complex enterprise environment, ensuring that employees are equipped with the right tools, devices, and experiences to be productive and secure.
Your focus will span across hardware, software, and user experience encompassing traditional end user devices as well as emerging technologies such as virtual desktops, device-as-a-service (DaaS), Windows 365, and AI-powered productivity tools.
You will have:
- Proven experience in designing, delivering, and managing end user compute services in a large enterprise environment.
- Deep understanding of device life cycle management, endpoint architecture, and software distribution.
- Knowledge of emerging EUC trends including Windows 365, cloud-native endpoints, AI-enhanced productivity, and automation.
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, and modern MDM/UEM platforms.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across IT, business functions, and suppliers.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- A mindset focused on innovation, service quality, and end user satisfaction.
