Retail Systems Developer - Warrington
Retail Systems Developer (C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) - £40k-£45k
This is a great opportunity for a Junior Level Developer to gain experience with Blazor and Azure.
Based in Birchwood, Warrington (2 days a week in office), this role is paying between £40k and £45k a year.
Working with a small, close-nit development team, you will be developing a wide variety of in-house projects for the businesses retail division. This will be centred around the development of in-house screen system technology that use 10,000 Pi's to enable the studio to publish data, stream TV channels and update information and layouts in Real Time, to displays across 1400 retail sites.
Job Duties
- Contribute to the building of systems from the ground up
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C#, HTML, and Blazor
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code that meets the requirements of the project
- Debug and resolve software issues, including fixing bugs and optimizing performance
- Document software design, code, and test procedures
- Participate in the estimation of software development projects
- Participate in customer and end-user interactions to gather requirements and provide support
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency with C#, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- 2+ years as a software developer
- Experience with Web Services and REST API's
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Physics or Mathematics
- Any experience with React or Pi's would be beneficial
