Modelling Actuary

We are looking for a technically strong and innovative Modelling Actuary to support a major model transformation initiative. This role will focus on developing a flexible prototype model to replace a Legacy reporting system, enabling more agile and insightful actuarial analysis.

• Lead the development of a prototype actuarial model to support major model change
• Translate actuarial methodology into robust, scalable model architecture
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure model outputs meet business needs
• Document model design, assumptions, and validation processes
• Support testing, governance, and implementation of the new model

• Proven track record in actuarial model development, ideally in life insurance
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Deep understanding of credit risk modelling and its application in insurance
• Experience working on model change or transformation projects
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
