We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Consultant to support our EMIR (European Market Infrastructure Regulation) reporting efforts. This is a data- and compliance-focused quality assurance role with a strong emphasis on ETL/Back End testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring that regulatory reports are accurate, complete, and compliant with EMIR standards.

• Test EMIR Regulatory Reports

  • Validate trade and transaction reports generated under EMIR.

  • Ensure all regulatory data requirements are met.

• Ensure Output Quality

  • Review final outputs for data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.

  • Identify, investigate, and escalate any inconsistencies before submission.

• Propose Process Improvements

  • Analyze current workflows and tools.

  • Recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance.

• Strong understanding of EMIR regulatory requirements, such as:

  • Trade reporting obligations

  • Counterparty data

  • Reconciliation rules

• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and querying

• Experience in data quality testing (accuracy, completeness, consistency)

• Background in ETL/Back End testing, particularly in regulatory or reporting pipelines

• Familiarity with Pentaho ETL platform

• Exposure to financial services or regulatory environments

• Knowledge of additional regulatory frameworks (eg, MiFIR, SFTR) is a plus

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field

• Experience in QA, data analysis, or regulatory reporting roles, especially within financial services
