Role: BIM manager
Contract Length: 31-03-26 with potential for extension
Location: 40%, rising to 60% in Sept - Manchester (Prefered location), Blackpool,
Glasgow, Leeds, Newcastle, Pontypridd, Sheffield, London, Birmingham

Minimum Requirement: Manage asset management & facility management activities
Primarily they need someone who can help them with contact with project & delivery teams.
Currently have BIM requirements under development, need to lease with delivery teams to clarify requirements.
Extra resource to provide the contact.

Core Day to Day Duties
Be the first point of contact with any Project specific queries re BIM requirements.
Making sure the BIM deliverables are matching requirements - auditing Ensure the deliverables are matching to what was set
BIM execution plan - key document that drives the requirements - checking this & going back to teams to fix issues

Key Essential Skills and
Top 3 Evaluation Criteria

Theoretical knowledge of ISO19650 requirement, information management - how all of that work.
Hands on experience working with projects - know what to look for issues/audits.
Working closely with delivery teams Implementing & translating requirements into deliverables
Mix of delivery & client side - more aware of the client mindset
Flexibility - know when a high-level check vs go into detail
Comm skills
Analysis skills
Being efficient/attention to detail
Asset management experience
At last 3-5 years experience - hands on experience.
1. ISO19650 knowledge
2. Being experienced at enquiring the BIM deliverables/auditing them to ensure they match requirements

Key Essential Skills and Top 3 Evaluation Criteria
Comm skills

Any specific Technology/Systems experience required

Revit essential
Knowing how to work with Revit software
Revit, IFC & COBIE
Are the main 3 type of deliverables that they will be receiving from delivery teams.
Previous Authority Experience required
Public sector would be helpful

Any Qualifications/Certifications/Accreditations needed for the role? Would you accept relevant experience in lieu of qualifications?
ISO19650 - don't need to be certified, need knowledge of this.
