We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join a highly skilled team building global customer data platforms. You'll play a key role in rebuilding and modernizing Legacy systems using current Front End technologies, contributing to a data platform used across critical systems.
About the Role
You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for developing and maintaining a global reference data platform. This platform supports consistent customer and business data across international systems, enabling standardized regulatory reporting, risk calculations, and system integrations. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, your focus will be on replacing and improving the existing Front End with scalable, modern, and performant architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of Front End components using modern JavaScript standards
Rebuild Legacy frontends with clean, efficient, and reusable code
Contribute to Front End architecture decisions and implementation
Design API integrations with performance and usability in mind
Help establish and follow consistent coding standards and CI/CD processes
Collaborate closely with Back End engineers, product owners, and stakeholders
Contribute to testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E) and ensure high-quality deliverables
Support the platform through deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities
Required Skills and Experience
10+ years of experience in software development, preferably in large-scale applications
Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (Vanilla JS), CSS, HTML, and Web Components
Solid experience with Node.js, Front End build tools (Webpack, Rollup), and browser APIs
Familiarity with class-based components (eg, React Classes, LIT)
Experience designing APIs and working in cross-functional environments
Strong understanding of Front End architecture, SPA, and SSR/SSG patterns
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps)
Solid grasp of TDD/BDD and Front End testing frameworks (Mocha, Chai, Selenium, etc.)
Clear communication skills and ability to work in agile, collaborative teams
Nice to Have
Familiarity with secure deployment processes, CDN releases, and risk evaluation
Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments
