We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assembly Technician to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and/or electrical assembly, with the ability to read technical drawings, build and test components, and ensure all finished products meet stringent quality and safety standards.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and fixing faults during the assembly process.
Key Responsibilities:

Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components as per engineering drawings and specifications.

Perform functional testing on completed assemblies to ensure proper operation.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults as necessary.

Replace defective or faulty components with accuracy and care.
-
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently.

Perform basic maintenance on equipment and assembly tools.

Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols and workplace standards.
Skills and Experience:

4-7 years of experience in an assembly technician or similar hands-on engineering role.

Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

Competence using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery.

Understanding of mechanical/electrical systems and fault-finding techniques.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
