Key Responsibilities:

• PingFederate Configuration and Integration: Configuring PingFederate for various authentication and authorization scenarios, including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect, and integrating it with different applications.
• Java Development: Writing, testing, and maintaining Java code for custom PingFederate adapters, authentication flows, and integration components.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identifying and resolving issues related to PingFederate configurations, application integrations, and user authentication flows.
• Security Best Practices: Implementing and adhering to security best practices when working with PingFederate and Java, including secure coding practices and data protection.
• Collaboration: Working closely with other developers, system administrators, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of PingFederate and related systems.
• Staying Updated: Keeping up-to-date with the latest PingFederate features, security updates, and best practices, as well as advancements in Java development.

Skills Required:

• Java Programming: Strong proficiency in Java, including experience with frameworks like Spring, and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• PingFederate: In-depth knowledge of PingFederate installation, configuration, and integration with various applications.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM): Understanding of IAM concepts, including SSO, MFA, OAuth, and SAML.
• Web Technologies: Familiarity with web technologies such as HTTP, REST APIs, and web Servers.
• Security: Knowledge of security best practices, encryption, and secure coding techniques.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues related to PingFederate and Java applications.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is often desired.
• Scripting Languages: Proficiency in Scripting languages like Groovy or Python for PingFederate policy customization is also a plus.
