SAP DMC Consultant - MES Integration (Contract)

Our client, a multinational in the Manufacturing and Automotive, is embarking on a strategic digital transformation journey. As part of a parallel program to an S/4HANA implementation, they are deploying SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) alongside an external MES system to enhance their shop floor operations and manufacturing intelligence.

We are seeking an experienced SAP DMC Consultant with a strong background in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to support the integration, configuration, and deployment of SAP DMC in a complex, multi-system environment.

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP DMC in coordination with the external MES and S/4HANA teams.
• Define and configure DMC processes including production execution, quality management, and machine integration.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP DMC, external MES, and S/4HANA systems.
• Support testing, validation, and go-live activities.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices for digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 enablement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DMC and MES integration.

• Proven experience as an SAP DMC Consultant in manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of MES concepts, ideally with hands-on experience in both SAP DMC and external MES platforms
• Experience working in parallel or integrated programs with S/4HANA.
• Solid knowledge of SAP MII, PCo, and integration frameworks.
• Familiarity with IoT, machine connectivity, and Real Time data processing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global project environment.
