ASIC Designer - Fully remote - Digital Signal Processing, Beamforming, Modems, A/D converters, D/A converters, High-speed Serdes interfaces, Telecommunications

Fully remote contract/freelance opportunity for an ASIC Expert to join my industry leading client in the Satellite Telecommunications industry on an exciting Transformation programme. Our client needs to develop ASICs for their Satellites, and the role of the ASIC expert will be to work closely with a 3rd party sub-contractor company to ask them the right questions, validate and test the work they are doing and finally to support in the overall ASIC Design and Development.

Our client are going to be developing ASIC for 3 specific areas: Antenna Digital beamforming, User Terminal Modem and finally regenerative on-board processor.

To be successful in this role you must have previous proven experience building ASICs ideally within the Telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate must have experience with High speed Digital Signal Processing (GHz) and will have experience with mixed signal IC's such as: A/D converters, D/A converters and high-speed Serdes interfaces (JESD204C, PCIe, Ethernet). The ideal candidate will also have experience with Beamforming and Modems.

The perfect candidate will have experience in the Telecommunication industry with very high speed Digital Signal Processing.

This role is fully remote, however travel to the clients office may be required from time to time.
