Oracle, Cloud, HCM, OTL, Solution Architect

Apps IT are seeking an Oracle HCM Cloud Solution Architect with a strong background in delivering UK-specific HCM implementations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Core HR, Absence Management, Oracle Time and Labour (OTL), and Helpdesk modules, with proven experience in designing and guiding end-to-end HCM transformations: Lead the design and architecture of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions, focusing on UK-specific statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements. Provide subject matter expertise in Core HR, Absence Management, OTL, and HR Helpdesk. Work with key stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into system configurations and design documents. Guide UK payroll and absence rules configurations in line with statutory requirements like SSP, SMP, SPP, and holiday accruals. Oversee configuration, integration, and deployment strategies across HCM modules. Develop solution blueprints, data models, and process flows aligned with UK HR practices. Support data migration, testing strategies, and cutover planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Payroll, Time Management, and Service Delivery. Provide expert guidance on reporting, analytics, and security roles within HCM Cloud. Mentor implementation teams and act as an escalation point for functional and technical issues.

Skills & experience:
10+ years of experience in Oracle HCM, with at least 3 end-to-end UK implementations. Strong functional expertise in: Core HR Absence Management (UK-specific policies and calculations) Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) Helpdesk/HR Service Delivery (HRSD) Deep understanding of UK statutory requirements and HR best practices. Experience with Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, and BI Reporting. Ability to lead workshops, conduct solution walkthroughs, and produce high-quality documentation. Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills. Oracle HCM Cloud certification(s) is a plus.
