As an Impact Consultant, you will lead our approach to impact modelling and analysis-capturing and communicating the health, economic, and social returns of investment. Your work will be vital in demonstrating the value of our programmes and shaping future investment strategies.
You will
- Lead and mentor a high-performing analytics team to produce timely, high-quality insights that drive programme improvement and efficiency.
- Represent the organisation in external forums and technical working groups, building strategic partnerships and influencing sector-wide impact standards.
- Design and deliver robust models for estimating impact and cost-effectiveness, supporting decision-making and investment planning.
- Communicate analytical findings through engaging, data-rich presentations and storytelling tailored to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
You need
- Advanced proficiency in analytical modelling, particularly in impact assessment, equity analysis, and cost-effectiveness evaluation.
- Deep understanding of impact evaluation methodologies, especially in low-resource or development contexts.
- Experience designing metrics and frameworks for value-for-money and equity-focused assessments.
- Excellent communicator-able to translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights for policy, donor, and technical audiences.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
- Proven thought leadership, with a strong record of publishing and presenting research across academic, technical, and professional platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders, facilitating co-development of analytical models and shared insights.
- Extensive experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects, including strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Comfortable working across different cultures and geographies, providing tailored technical support in diverse and challenging environments.
This is an urgent interim role which is remote and outside IR35. Initially 6 months but likely to extend.
