My Client, a multinational information technology company providing IT and telecommunication services to the air transport industry are looking for a Bid Manager to join on a permanent basis.
I am looking for a senior bid manager for a major EU deal. They must be based in a commutable distance to Brussels, Belgium.
Reporting into the Head of Border Management Bidding. All bid team members report to the Bid Manager for all progress and delivery on the bid.
The bid team will be drawn from around Europe so ability to manage a remote team is important. The bid manager will also be managing contributions from partner and subcontractor companies and therefore experience of managing third parties on major deals is desirable.
The Bid Manager will lead the engagement with the commercial branches to ensure that appropriate governance rigour is applied, for legal and financial aspects of the deal. They will work with the account owner and business development lead to produce a successful bid.
The bid work is currently expected to commence in 2019 and continue through the first half of 2020.
Experience in managing large scale bidding.
IT industry knowledge and experience
Knowledge and understanding of EU bidding regulations.
Experience with border management would also be an advantage.
Strong communication skills, experience working with various parties inside and outside the organisation.
Candidates must be open to travel, initially to the UK for a number of weeks.
