Platforms Specialist - Linux Low Latency

TurleyWay are pairing with a globally renowned Quantitative trading firm to support them in growing their ultra-low latency team. Supporting this teams cutting edge technology and business critical infrastructure .

The firm are well established and in a growth phase. Today, the firm has more than 1,500 people around the globe and have an expansive technology team.

This company are looking for a highly talented Low Latency Platform Engineer to provide solutions and support across global sites. You will be responsible for project delivery, high level support escalations, automation, Platform security, and capacity management for the low latency infrastructure.

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject
• 5+ years of experience working with Linux in a large complex environment with the following areas of focus: operations, systems engineering and systems performance.
• Server Management and Support.
• Low latency network interfaces and Kernel bypass. Ideally experience with Solarflare with onload and Mellanox with VMA.
• System hardware/OS tuning and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience with Automation tooling: Chef or Ansible
• Experience with Observability stack.
• Strong knowledge of server networking configuration.
