Operations Manager - Fairhaven Foundation
The Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities has an excellent opportunity for an Operations Manager with our Fairhaven Foundation. This employee will assist in Fairhaven Foundation program planning made possible through grant funding.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, banking for Fairhaven Foundation including weekly deposit, recording all Fairhaven Foundation transactions using QuickBooks and Network for Good, reconciles the balance sheet and other financial reports. Must be able to analyzes the budget to maintain and monitor fiscal goals and must maintain balance between Fairhaven Foundation funds and funds restricted for other program areas. Distributes funds in accordance with guidelines established by the Fairhaven Foundation Board. Will also provide support to the Executive Director in creating board meeting agendas, taking notes at board meetings and creating post meeting report of minutes. Employee will be responsible for researching available grant funding sources and writing grant project proposals for submission to granting agencies. Duties include managing grant funds, develops/raises budgets and monitors account balances. Employee will monitor and evaluate grant projects to assure adherence to standards and requirements.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, to include: written, spoken, and multimedia communications platforms. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Development, Business Management, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field; three (3) to five (5) years of successful fundraising experience. Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and abuser registry clearances. Ability to access worksite(s) required.
