Senior Consultant - NHS - Predictive Modelling
SR2 are on the lookout for a Senior Consultant with proven NHS & consulting experience to join a new programme of work. Our consulting client is working with a trust to create a predictive modelling solution to analyse workforce and bed capacity. This is a business-facing role, working with the clinical team to conduct a discovery phase and understand the current state.
Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery and 'as-is' operational mapping
- Gather and interpret data on bed usage, workforce, and patient flows
- Liaise with operational and clinical stakeholders to inform modelling
- Work with data teams to translate findings into model variables
- Support scenario testing and insights for decision-making
- 2-8 years healthcare/NHS consulting experience
- Experience in demand & capacity, operational planning, or service redesign
- Strong stakeholder engagement and analytical skills
- Understanding of predictive modelling concepts (desirable)
- Comfortable leading discovery work in complex environments
