Infrastructure Engineer

I am looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer on behalf of my client who can demonstrate high-level problem-solving skills, technical leadership, process refinement abilities and ensure stability and growth within the company's operations.

Your responsibilities in the role

Pre-Sales & Solution Design

• Collaborate with sales and leadership to scope, design, and propose IT solutions.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to assess customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Help develop and refine company MSP service catalogue.
• Provide technical input for proposals and RFPs.

Technical Support & MSP Operations

• Deliver 2nd and 3rd line support for cloud, security, networking, data protection, and IT infrastructure.
• Escalate and resolve complex technical issues and critical incidents.
• Improve MSP operations through workflow and automation enhancements.
• Manage Patch, Vulnerability, Disaster Recovery, Identity, and Compliance processes.

Project Implementation & Delivery

• Lead deployment and migration projects across Azure, Nutanix, OVHCloud, and security platforms.
• Ensure timely, quality project execution independently and collaboratively.
• Maintain detailed project documentation.

Process Optimization & Documentation

• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and service quality.
• Optimize PSA tools like HaloPSA for automation and reporting.
• Keep documentation accurate and current for team knowledge sharing.

Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing

• Guide and support Technical Engineer I team members.
• Lead technical workshops and training to build team skills.

Skills and Experience

• 3+ years in IT support or MSP roles
• Strong in cloud (Azure, AWS), networking, security, and virtualization
• Skilled in Windows/Linux, PSA tools, and Scripting (PowerShell, Terraform)
• Experienced with patching, backups, compliance, and automation
• Clear communicator and independent problem-solver

• XDR, EDR, Firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN
• Nutanix, VMware, Hyper-V
• HaloPSA, Dynamics 365

Preferred

• Azure/AWS/Nutanix/CompTIA certs
• MSP or consultancy background
• Automation and security framework knowledge
