Network Engineer - £700/day (Inside IR35) - SC Cleared - Onsite in Stevenage

We're hiring an experienced Network Engineer to join our team on a high-impact, on-premises contract based onsite in Stevenage (5 days/week). This is a great opportunity to work in a technically complex environment with a focus on enterprise-grade networking and security infrastructure.

Location: Stevenage (100% onsite)
Day Rate: £700/day (Inside IR35)
Clearance: Active SC clearance required
Contract Length: Ongoing

What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing, implementing & supporting on-prem network infrastructure

• Troubleshooting across switching, routing & Firewall layers

• Collaborating with infrastructure/security teams to maintain uptime & performance

• Documenting changes and supporting ongoing upgrades

What You'll Need:

• Proven experience in complex enterprise network environments

• Strong L2/L3 switching & routing (VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, HA)

• Hands-on with Cisco equipment (CCNP level or equivalent)

• Proficiency with Fortinet (FortiGate) and Palo Alto Firewalls

• Self-starter mindset - able to work independently and own solutions

Please note: This role is INSIDE IR35 and requires Full time onsite presence in Stevenage. Only candidates with active SC clearance can be considered.
