Job Title: Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence Lead
Job Type: Interim - 12 month
Rate: £450-£550pd Outside IR35
Location: Must be flexible to travel to multiple distribution locations across predominantly the Midlands and South Wales - travel can be expensed

Job Description:
Join our dynamic team to drive transformation and improvement in our operational efficiency team. We're seeking a seasoned continuous improvement Lead to join our team on a 12-month contract. As an Operational Excellence expert, you'll be responsible for driving the implementation of various projects to enhance our processes, driving momentum and pace across our 3 major hubs and 34 distribution centres. If you're passionate about lean principles, have a strong understanding of theory and application, and can effectively communicate with stakeholders, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across the business, driving business benefit realisation and demonstrating ROI
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to build buy-in and support for change
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance operational excellence skills across the organisation
  • Work closely with the internal team to ensure seamless integration and alignment with organisational goals

Requirements:

  • Proven experience driving and leading continuous improvement, operational excellence, and process optimisation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstratable ability to work with stakeholders all levels and drive business buy-in
  • Warehouse/distribution industry experience a real bonus
  • Ability to lead and drive change, with a focus on benefit realisation and demonstrating ROI
  • Strong lean practitioner with a deep understanding of theory and application

Travel Requirements:

  • Flexibility to travel to various cities predominantly Newport, Hemel Hampstead, Nottingham and Birmingham
  • All travel costs can be expensed
