Lorien are working with a leading SaaS organisation within their sector who are looking for a Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in providing support to colleagues in the Sales team as well as growing their experience and knowledge of the product to go to market and build out their own sales opportunities and continued growth within the role.

About the Role

As part of the role you will be undertaking research to establish sales leads, engagement with prospective customers to understand their needs, and delivering demonstrations of the product to prospective customers. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the role will also involve working to win new clients by assisting with bid responses.

Responsibilities

  • Undertaking research to establish sales leads
  • Engagement with prospective customers to understand their needs
  • Delivering demonstrations of the SaaS product to prospective customers
  • Assisting with bid responses to win new clients
  • Utilise problem solving skills and knowledge of our product's capabilities to advise customers on the best solution to their challenges.
  • Adept at building relationships and be a collaborative team worker.
  • Serve as an advocate for the team, effectively communicating the reasoning behind our sales strategy to the wider business.
  • Focus on exact requirements, and obtain industry knowledge and awareness.
  • Present yourself with confidence and authority to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have the durability to keep pursuing sales opportunities despite setbacks.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in a Sales or Business Development role
  • Experience in a SaaS or Product focused sales role
  • Performed demonstrations to a client audience

Salary is paying up to £35,000 with additional benefits and bonus structure.

The role will be based on a hybrid basis from their office in Shipley 1-2 days per week
