ServiceNow Technical Lead - ServiceNow/Java/Python/C#/AWS - Insurance - London, City

Our client, a leading specialty insurer based in the City of London, require a ServiceNow Technical Lead (AVP level) to join their team to drive the design, development and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions to support their dynamic business.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 8+years experience in software development or technology leadership roles;
• Experience in implementing complex, highly configurable technologies, preferably ServiceNow Customer and Industry Workflow Solutions;
• Advanced proficiency in core ServiceNow modules (App Engine, IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Security Operations (SecOps), and HR Service Delivery);
• Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform's architecture, integration capabilities, and custom application development;
• Experience with ServiceNow modules like incident, request, change, maintenance window, SLAs, and email notifications;
• Knowledge of Scripting business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, and automation;
• Expertise in programming languages (Java, Python, C#) and frameworks (.NET, React, Angular);
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture;
• In-depth knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, and compliance standards;
• Hands-on experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies;
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills;
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide technical teams;
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Previous experience in insurance or financial services is a preferred; and
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
