Linux System Engineer (Senior) Ansible/Puppet, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Bern, Switzerland - Fluent German - Permanent role.

NEED TO HAVE

• 5 years of solid experience in GNU/Linux
• Know-how in using Ansible and Puppet
• Knowledge of Scripting languages is an advantageE
• Experience in working with databases (MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL or others)Y
• ou have expertise in two or more of the following areas: Logging stack consisting of OpenSearch/Fluentd/Grafana or comparable technologies, monitoring, Docker environments, load balancing and WAF/reverse Proxy, web server (Apache/nginx), DNS, PKI or Java Application Server (JBoss, wildfly, etc.)S
• Strong service orientation, high level of independence and personal responsibility
• Fluent German

Aa Senior System Engineer, you'll play a key role in the planning, management, and further development of our application, database, and infrastructure systems. Working closely with your team, you'll develop and improve our Ubuntu-based environment and support our system engineers in second- and third-level support with day-to-day operations. At work, you'll value the automation of everyday tasks with Ansible/Puppet and enjoy working independently in your area of expertise.
