Telecommunications Assistant - UC, Unified Comms, Mobile Technologies

Our leading global law firm are looking to recruit a Telecommunications Assistant (UC, Unified Comms, Mobile Technologies) on a permanent basis to provide proactive support for 600+ users on UC and Mobile technologies.

The Telecommunications Assistant (UC, Unified Comms, Mobile Technologies) will be required to provide daily technical and desk side support on all software and hardware related issues, with an emphasis on taking ownership of calls and providing technical solutions whenever possible.

They key duties for this Telecommunications Assistant (UC, Unified Comms, Mobile Technologies) are:

• Projects assigned will be varied but will include developing, testing and rolling out new or upgraded applications for the unified communications solution, researching the use of smartphone apps and working with the wider IT team on other solutions
• The role will also include education, increasing awareness and adoption of the solutions and technology tools to users
• Provision and support of current and future telecoms/unified communications technology
• Deployment of mobile technology, from handsets to system portals and associated apps
• Development, testing and rollout of apps for unified communications
• Raising internal awareness and the adoption of a varied unified communications toolkit
• Support of associated system portals
• Training of technology to clients using various media
• Data usage management
