For a challenging remote project in the field of workflow automation we are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer (m/f/d) with profound expertise in the development of complex applications based on Temporal (Java SDK). The focus is on the integration into modern microservice architectures and the implementation of robust Back End services.

Tasks & technologies
- Software development & programming
- Development of complex workflow applications with Temporal (Java SDK)
- Integration of Temporal workflows in Spring Boot microservices
- Development of REST APIs and Back End services with Spring Boot, Hibernate or EclipseLink
- Creation of unit and integration tests with JUnit and Cucumber (Gherkin)
- SQL development (eg PostgreSQL, MySQL) PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Use of Postman for API tests
- System integration & operation
- System and network integration (eg SDM)
- Monitoring & logging with Dynatrace and the ELK stack
- Containerization & deployment with Kubernetes and OpenShift
- CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
- Software Engineering & Architecture
- Application of modern development processes and methods
- Design and implementation of scalable system architectures
- Test automation and continuous integration
- Agile methods & tools/Working according to Scrum and agile frameworks/Use of Jira for task tracking
