Data Planning analyst

Advanced excel skills (including power query/complex formulas)

Experience in consolidating complex data via collection templates

Provide assistance to project/programme leads to complete planning templates and business cases

SharePoint skills (forms/lists) preferred

Understanding of financial budgeting/planning

Tech & FI knowledge preferred

The Data Analyst will be responsible for helping to set up the new-look data practice within ITID. Specifically, they'll be someone who can use their experience to suggest new ideas and suggestions for how the department uses and analyses data related to incoming projects. They also get ad-hoc requests coming through from senior stakeholders where they often need to analyse data sets and turn around a requirement fairly quickly, so the client needs to bring in someone who can be a self-starter in this regard with strong MS Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) and SharePoint (Lists/Forms) experience .

Ideally the right candidate would have experience setting up data practices from scratch and aligning their work with the wider business objectives/strategic direction.
