Business Analyst

Fully Remote

£45,000 (Fixed term contract - 6 months)

My client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their IT Change team on a fixed-term basis. This role will support the successful delivery of a range of digital and operational initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, customer-focused solutions.

You'll bridge the gap between Operations and IT teams to understand what the business needs, help improve how things are done, and make sure the right solutions are delivered effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support small to mid-sized projects; contribute to larger programmes alongside PMs and Scrum Masters
  • Work with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritise business and system requirements
  • Analyse operational processes and customer journeys to identify improvement opportunities
  • Work closely with developers and testers to support successful implementation of solutions
  • Coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Produce documentation including business cases, process maps, use cases, and future state models
  • Support continuous improvement and contribute to project reporting and governance

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experienced in Agile environments (writing epics, features, user stories)
  • Experience working across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering through to implementation and post-release support.
  • Proficient in analysing customer behaviour, trends, and business performance using Excel
  • Experience with digital transformation, portals, mobile journeys, and process digitisation
  • Confident working across both IT and business teams, translating needs into actionable requirements
  • Skilled in UAT coordination and supporting change from analysis to implementation
  • Preferably a background in financial or insurance services.

Although this role will start out as a fixed term contract, there is certainly room for this to not only extend but also potentially move to a permanent opportunity if that is something you are interested in. For anymore information, please apply and we'll be in touch.
