Claims Business Analyst - Permanent Role

Location: Average once a week
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 + bonus & benefits
Contract Type: Permanent

Are you a skilled Business Analyst with a background in Claims and a passion for shaping meaningful change in the insurance industry? We're looking for a Claims Business Analyst to join our UK Transformation team on a permanent basis, where you'll play a vital role in helping deliver strategic improvements to our Commercial Insurance operations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the analysis of change initiatives, supporting the scoping and delivery of key transformation projects

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to capture, refine and manage business requirements

  • Ensure clear end-to-end traceability of requirements, supporting prioritisation and change control processes

  • Contribute to solution design, testing and delivery by working closely with delivery partners and internal teams

  • Participate in retrospectives and lessons learned sessions to drive ongoing improvement


What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within General Insurance Claims

  • Strong working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with experience using tools like Jira and Confluence

  • Ability to create Epics, User Stories, Use Cases, Value Streams, and BPMN diagrams

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels

  • Flexible, proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and collaboration


Desirable Experience

  • BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or similar qualifications

  • Experience working in Commercial Insurance

  • Familiarity with Guidewire ClaimCenter

  • Understanding of system integrations and data modelling
