We are seeking 3 experienced Service Designer to join a high-profile digital transformation programme within the a critical government department. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing end-to-end services that meet user needs and operational goals, working in multidisciplinary teams and adhering to Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of holistic, end-to-end services that span multiple touchpoints and channels.
• Work closely with User Researchers, Product Managers, Interaction Designers and Developers to co-create service solutions based on user insight and organisational requirements.
• Map current service journeys and identify pain points using service blueprints, user journey mapping, and other visualisation techniques.
• Engage with stakeholders across Home Office departments to align service design with policy, legal, operational and security considerations.
• Champion inclusive, accessible and user-centred design across the service life cycle.
• Contribute to and participate in GDS Service Standard assessments.
• Support the development of design artefacts, business cases, and delivery roadmaps.
• Apply knowledge of government environment including governance, delivery models, and clearance requirements.
