We're currently supporting a high-profile financial services client with the urgent hire of an experienced AWS Security Architect to join their security transformation programme.

Key Details:

• Role: AWS Security Architect

• Start: ASAP

• Contract Length: 3 months (initial term)

• Rate: Up to £800/day Inside IR35

• Location: Fully remote (UK-based candidates only)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading the design and implementation of secure AWS environments

• Driving cloud security best practices across engineering and architecture teams

• Collaborating with risk, compliance, and DevOps to deliver secure solutions

• Designing and reviewing IAM policies, VPC security, data protection strategies, etc.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Security Architect in AWS-centric environments

• Strong grasp of AWS native security tools (GuardDuty, Macie, KMS, etc.)

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD integration (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)

• Ability to assess risks and provide mitigation strategies in large, complex organisations

• Financial services sector experience is highly desirable
