Currently working with an industry leading client that are seeking a Solutions Architect with experience in Decision Orientated Design.
Experience Required:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Solution Architecture .
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply strong domain expertise and Decision-Oriented Design, leveraging knowledge of BIAN, TOGAF, ArchiMate, and architecture solutions such as APIs and microservices, using tools like Avolution Abacus to produce Solution Design Documents (SDDs) .
- Be responsible for end-to-end solution architecture, collaborating with and coordinating inputs from other architectural disciplines (security, data, infrastructure, cloud, etc.), ensuring alignment with the domain's enterprise architecture strategy.
- Document complex AS-IS, transitional, and target architectures, aligned with related roadmaps.
- Define and maintain strategies and roadmaps, aligning stakeholders across different technologies and business areas, both locally and globally.
- Possess a strong understanding of digital architecture, API and microservices, big data, AWS, Azure, cloud computing, and domain-relevant software packages.
- Experience in migrating/decommissioning Legacy systems, eliminating obsolescence through modern technologies.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience in IT Systems Design and Solution Architecture within Financial Institutions (Retail or Corporate), with knowledge in Finance and Risk, preferably with experience in General Ledger system migration, transformation projects, new/existing solution implementations, or other risk control frameworks regulated by the industry.
- Ability to create practical, feasible architectures aligned with IT principles and standards, following appropriate governance processes.
- Strong focus on collaboration and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, both in writing and verbally.
- Demonstrated ability to diplomatically challenge and influence a diverse group of stakeholders and colleagues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
