A leading consultancy-based organisation is currently looking to recruit a number of Java API Developers to partner with a financial services-based organisation who have a passion for designing and building robust, scalable applications. The successful skilled developer will join a dynamic engineering team, where you will play a key role in delivering high-performance Back End solutions using the latest Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver quality solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and optimised for performance

Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and API Gateway
• Solid understanding of OOP, Core Java, and Advanced Java
• Proficient with REST API, Spring Core, Spring MVC, and Microservices Architecture
• Familiarity with tools and technologies such as:
• Maven, Gradle
• SOAP, Junit, Oracle
• Jenkins, Nexus
• Git, JBoss/Tomcat
• Linux/UNIX Shell Scripting
• JIRA, Exec API
• Exposure to cloud platforms (eg, OpenShift V3, AWS, or Spring Cloud) is desirable
