We're supporting one of the UK's most critical infrastructure organisations on its journey toward a smarter, cleaner energy future. As part of that journey, a new data innovation lab-Data Connect Innovation (DCI)-has been established to explore how data can be used in bold, creative ways to solve complex business challenges and unlock new opportunities.

DCI is designed to enable rapid experimentation, deliver proof-of-concepts (POCs), and help shape the future of how data and AI are used across the organisation.

Your Role: Driving Impact Through Innovation

As a Data Innovation Senior Business Analyst, you'll work at the intersection of creativity, technology, and delivery. You'll lead efforts to turn complex business challenges into structured, testable hypotheses-bringing innovative concepts to life and helping shape the future of energy and data.

This is a hybrid role based in Warwick, typically involving 2-3 days per week in the office.

What You'll Do
. Engage stakeholders across the organisation to uncover and shape innovation opportunities
. Translate business needs into well-defined hypotheses and test plans
. Lead and manage a portfolio of innovation POCs from concept through delivery
. Facilitate lab ceremonies and planning sessions to ensure momentum and focus
. Support senior leadership in managing operations, capacity, and team priorities
. Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track impact and visibility
. Coach and mentor junior team members to foster growth and capability
. Help shape internal communications and advocacy for the DCI Lab
. Stay connected to emerging data, AI, and automation technologies

What You'll Bring
. Experience leading business analysis or innovation projects in data-driven environments
. Strong analytical thinking and hypothesis-driven problem solving
. Exposure to regulated sectors, particularly energy, utilities, or infrastructure
. A solid understanding of the potential of data and AI technologies
. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
. Commercial awareness and ability to assess strategic value
. A proactive, adaptable mindset and a passion for creating impact through innovation
