End User Computing Engineer
We are recruiting for an End User Computing Engineer for a 6 Month Contract (Inside IR35) Hybrid based in Manchester. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, resilient services and building a user experience control centre focused on performance.
As the role falls within IR35 candidates will have to work via an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.
Candidates MUST have worked within central government within the last 12 months
As an End User Computing Engineer, your main responsibilities will be to:
. Deliver a digital workplace that enhances operational efficiency and user productivity.
. Provide high-quality IT services and support to end-users.
. Build and maintain a world-class performance-focused user experience control center.
. Exploit and enhance hybrid cloud services to improve flexibility and scalability.
. Protect and secure the services to ensure compliance and minimise risks.
. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in end-user computing services.
Technical Skills required:
Significant experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), particularly Intune and Google Workspace.
Proven hands-on experience in configuring, managing, and owning the technical capability of MDM solutions.
Knowledge of troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the MDM space.
Understanding of performance benchmarking, fault detection, and fault resolution.
Significant experience with SaaS service monitoring tools and controls for ensuring performance and reliability.
Substantial knowledge of cloud-based technologies and services, particularly hybrid cloud environments.
