Managed Service Architect - Networking

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Managed Service Architect with a strong networking background to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. This role is crucial in shaping and delivering managed networking services for our customers, ensuring scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.

You will be responsible for designing end-to-end managed service architectures, supporting pre-sales and delivery teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and document managed network service solutions (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, cloud networking, etc.)
• Translate business and technical requirements into high-level service architecture and operational models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, delivery, and sales to define service components, SLAs, and support models.
• Define service onboarding processes, operational procedures, and transition plans.
• Support RFP/RFI responses, presentations, and workshops as a subject matter expert (SME).
• Ensure alignment of the service architecture with ITIL principles, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Engage with vendors and technology partners as needed to shape service capabilities.
• Contribute to the development of service catalogues, runbooks, and tooling strategies.
