Masentó SAP are currently seeking an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to join our client on a 6-month freelance contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale SAP transformation project, focusing on the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Master Data Governance processes.

Location: Hybrid (Barcelona) - can accept fully remote in certain circumstances
Contract Length: 6-12-months+
Start Date: ASAP
Languages: English & Spanish fluent

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the implementation and configuration of SAP MDG modules.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT to gather and validate requirements.

• Develop data governance frameworks and workflows in line with best practices.

• Conduct MDG-related testing, training, and go-live support.

• Ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency across systems.

• Integrate MDG with other SAP and non-SAP systems.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with SAP MDG (minimum 6+ years).

• Strong understanding of master data domains (Customer, Supplier, Material, Finance, etc.).

• Hands-on experience in configuring data models, workflows, validations, and UI modelling.

• Excellent knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and data migration processes.

• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Freelance availability and able to commit for the full 6-month duration.
