Service Architect - Observability

IT Solutions Provider require an Observability Service Architect to help FTSE listed client to design a new Observability platform. They are implementing a range of new tools (Elastic Cloud, BMC Helix, NetScout) to complement their existing reactive monitoring tools (BMC Patrol, Entuit and ServiceNow).

The goal of this Observability programme will seek to take these tools and develop them into a harmonious platform which can be used by internal digital transformation teams as well as being offered as a service to various Business Centres of Excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Observability Architecture - Design an observability service and platform aligned to the Digital Transformation Objective and vision
• Automation and AIOps - Improve AI Driven monitoring and predictive analytics
• Controls and Operations Process - Develop controls and governance to ensure seamless transition of the service into BAU and established controls.
• Security considerations - Working with the Internal IT security team, ensure security concerns of the new service are covered and remediated/documented.

6 months initial Contract
Rate - Negotiable (Inside IR35)
Location - Remote - Occasional travel to Scotland
