Software Implementation Consultant - Data Migration
Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent
Salary: 45- 50k per annum

In this role, you'll lead software implementation projects with a focus on data migration, system configuration, and delivering tailored solutions to clients in the cultural sector.
Role Overview:You'll be responsible for managing and executing the full life cycle of implementation projects. This includes analysing customer data, performing migrations from Legacy systems, configuring web-based applications, and ensuring smooth software rollouts. You'll work closely with internal teams and clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that drive success.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead data migration activities: data mapping, transformation, and import
- Configure and deliver software tailored to customer needs
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams on timelines and deliverables
- Provide clear, ongoing communication to clients throughout projects
- Support clients post-deployment to ensure high satisfaction
What You'll Need:
- 2+ years of experience in project delivery, data management, or software implementation
- Strong understanding of software and configuration processes
- Hands-on experience or exposure to data migration tools and techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
- Confident communication in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Desirable Skills:
- Technical knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, HTML/CSS, XML, IIS, C#
- Experience with Agile project methodologies
- Background in archives, museums, or libraries is a plus
