Head of Delivery - Digital, Data & Technology Transformation Location: Hybrid - Home and North Surrey

About the Role

As Head of Delivery, you will oversee the end-to-end service life cycle, ensuring projects align with Government Service Design principles. You will be responsible for Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live phases, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver impactful digital services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the successful design and implementation of digital services for public sector clients.

• Ensure agile delivery methods are applied to meet user needs effectively.

• Manage stakeholder relationships across Government and Public Sector organisations.

• Oversee Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live phases, ensuring seamless transition across project stages.

• Champion service design best practices, governance, and compliance standards.

• Drive continuous improvement, ensuring high-quality delivery and user-centered outcomes.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in digital delivery within Government or the Public Sector.

• Strong understanding of Government Service Design principles and GDS frameworks.

• Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams in agile environments.

• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and translate policy into practical digital solutions.

• Deep knowledge of Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live phases of service development.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills.
