We're working exclusively with a major European organisation-currently undergoing significant technology investment and transformation-to find a standout leader to step into the role of Head of Service Delivery.

Reporting directly to the Director of Infrastructure, this is a pivotal "number two" role. It offers a rare chance to take the reins on strategic service delivery, team leadership, and end-to-end performance of critical technology services across a national, multi-site environment. The Role As Head of Service Delivery, you will:

• Act as a key strategic leader and deputy to the Director of Infrastructure
• Lead high-performing teams across IT Service Desk, End User Computing, Incident/Problem/Change Management, and Service Transition
• Drive excellence in service performance, customer satisfaction, and operational resilience
• Play a leading role in enterprise-level change, continuous improvement, and transformation projects
• Own the service management vision and strategy, underpinned by ITIL and ISO best practices
• Build strong stakeholder relationships at all levels, including executive leadership

Location & Flexibility

• Base: Manchester (or Leeds, if preferred)
• Working pattern: Hybrid - just 1 day per week onsite

Who We're Looking For You're likely an experienced IT Service Delivery Leader, Head of IT Operations, or similar. You've operated at a senior level and are ready to take the next step into a broader strategic leadership role.

You bring:

• A strong background in leading service delivery teams and IT operations across complex environments
• Excellent understanding of ITIL, incident and problem management, service design and continuous improvement
• A natural leadership style, with the ability to develop teams, manage stakeholders, and inspire confidence at all levels
• Experience working with SLAs, third-party vendors, ISO frameworks, and large-scale tech estates
