We are seeking a Commercial Officer with a strong emphasis on procurement to support a dynamic and evolving project environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to commercial delivery. Key responsibilities include providing expert advice and guidance on procurement strategies, tendering processes, and where applicable, contract management. The role also involves the continuous development and maintenance of the commercial pipeline, encompassing both current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") contractual arrangements.

What the client is looking for:

Top Essential Evaluation criteria:
1. Experience of public sector procurement - and knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023.
2. Delivery track record
3. L4 CIPS or equivalent, or a minimum of 5 years' commercial experience
4. Active SC clearance

Essential:
Stakeholder Management
Experience of CCS Frameworks.
Experience supporting end-to-end sourcing in a large-scale complex/high-risk programme.
Experience supporting development and delivery of complex Invitations to Tender, negotiations, and contracts that may require non-standard/bespoke conditions.
Highly proficient MS Word and Excel skills.
Experience of working in a secure environment.

Desirable:
Experience using Qualifying Defence Contracts (QDCs).
Working understanding of Oracle Fusion/equivalent
Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
MCIPS or working towards
